President Zelenskyy met with German Chancellor Scholz to discuss additional Patriot systems, the situation on the frontline, and the implementation of the Peace Summit results.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz . The main topics of the meeting were additional Patriot systems, the situation on the battlefield, and the implementation of the Peace Summit results, UNN reports.
"I informed him about the situation on the battlefield, in particular in the Kharkiv sector, in the east of our country and about terror in the airspace. We discussed strategies to combat Russian guided bomb carriers and reconnaissance drones," Zelenskyy said of his conversation with Scholz.
The Head of State emphasized that the announcement on the supply of additional Patriot systems was important.
"... we are grateful to Germany and our partners for this step. We thank Germany for its continued support!" Zelensky summarized.
