This year in Ukraine, about 10,000 pedestrians were fined for violating traffic rules
This year alone, law enforcement officers have brought about 10,000 pedestrians to justice for violating traffic rules. This was announced during a telethon on Thursday by Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, UNN reports.
If we take only this year, there are about 10 thousand materials drawn up, specifically pedestrians brought to justice. And we are constantly working on this and constantly paying attention. Of course, this is a constant work that is carried out from year to year, and we cannot say that only drivers are held accountable here, said Oleksiy Biloshytsky.

The law enforcement officer emphasized that there are only victims in road accidents and never winners. "Who is more right and who is more to blame has never helped anyone in the hospital or at the cemetery," he said.
Therefore, both drivers and pedestrians need to be careful and responsible on the road. Especially now, during the deteriorating weather conditions. In particular, pedestrians should remember that it is getting darker much faster now and should pay attention to clothing that will help drivers see them. We are talking about clothes with reflective elements or at least light colors.
