Explosions occur in Lviv amid ongoing air defense; Mayor Sadovyi calls for shelter as air alert spreads across Ukraine.
A series of explosions took place in Lviv. explosions, and air defense was activated. This was reported by the mayor of the city Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of the city, reports UNN.
"Lviv. An explosion was heard in the city. Two more air targets on the way. Everyone stay in shelters! in shelters!" the mayor wrote.
Earlier, explosions were heard in the Yavoriv district of Lviv region, where air defense forces were also operating.

The country is on air alert due to a missile threat. The Air Force reported a missile threat.
The alert has been declared in Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia, Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions.
