During a night attack by Russians on Ukraine, one of the "Shaheds" fell on the territory of Romania, creating a 1.5-meter crater. This was reported by UNN  with reference to Ntv and the Romanian Ministry of Defense.

On Thursday night, Russian drones attacking Ukraine violated NATO airspace over Romania and German Eurofighter jets were alerted. During the wave of strikes on targets in Ukraine, up to 70 Russian Shahed 136 drones were registered, one of which, according to preliminary data, exploded over Romanian airspace

The Romanian Ministry of Defense reported a 1.5-meter sinkhole in the Danube Delta near the Romanian village of Grind, 6.5 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. 

The Romanian ministry said it was "possible" that it was a Russian drone. 

Romanian Air Force aircraft also took off to monitor the airspace.

 The Ministry of National Defense strongly condemns the attacks carried out by the Russian Federation on certain objects and elements of civilian infrastructure in Ukrainian ports on the Danube. These attacks are unjustified and seriously contradict the norms of international humanitarian law
