The Rada supported a total increase of 300 people in the NABU staff. There were 332 votes in favor of the bill (No. 10203-1),

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said on Telegram.

It is about increasing the maximum number of staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine from 700 to 1000 people.

The bill provides for a phased competition to fill additional vacant positions: in 2024 - for 100 positions; in 2025 - for 100 positions; in 2026 - for 100 positions.

"This is an important draft law, which is one of the main ones in our European commitments," Zheleznyak emphasized.

On November 21, the Verkhovna Rada passed in the first reading a bill to increase the staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine to 1,000 people. This step was recommended by the European Commission and the United States in their reports.
