A new group of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine has been taken to Belarus

33 boarding school children from occupied Antratsyt and 40 people from Donetsk, Luhansk and Mariupol were brought to Belarus. The children were brought by the sanctioned Alexey Talay Foundation for “rehabilitation” in sanatoriums.

Another group of children from the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russian troops was brought to Belarus the day before. This is reported by Gomelskaya Pravda, UNN reports.

According to the newspaper, 33 children from an orphanage located in the city of Antratsyt in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region were brought to Belarus. They were sent to the Dubrovenka sanatorium near Mohyla.

Another 40 children and adults from the occupied Donetsk, Luhansk and Mariupol "went to Vitebsk region for recreation".

The children were brought to Belarus by the charitable foundation of pro-government activist Alexei Talay, against whom the United States, the EU and Ukraine imposed sanctions for organizing the removal of children from the occupied Ukrainian territories.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, reported that the Office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman received information that Russia was deporting Ukrainian children through the territory of Belarus.

The Ministry of Reintegration reported that more than 2,000 children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were forcibly taken to Belarus.
