A man was beating a horse with a stick at a ski resort. Thanks to tourists and the coordinated work of the police, the identity of the attacker has been established, and the issue of responsibility is being resolved.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, tourists witnessed a situation where a man was beating a horse with a stick. Law enforcement officers are deciding on the legal qualification of this incident, writes UNN, citing the Ivano-Frankivsk region police.

"The 102 line received a message from tourists who witnessed the cruel treatment of a horse on the territory of a ski resort. An unknown man was beating the horse with a stick. A crew of patrol police was immediately sent to the scene," the law enforcement officers said in a statement.
It is reported that law enforcement officers promptly took statements from witnesses and registered the incident. Through the joint efforts of the patrol police and the local community police officer, the identity of the offender was quickly established. He turned out to be a resident of the Transcarpathian region, born in 1990.
"The issue of legal qualification of the event is currently being resolved in order to bring the perpetrator to justice," law enforcement officers said.
