Russian troops attacked the house of an elderly couple in Kherson in the middle of the night, a 71-year-old Kherson resident died in hospital, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

Russian troops, according to the head of the DMA, shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson.
"In the middle of the night, the Russian army attacked the house of an elderly couple. They also hit the bedroom where the husband and wife spent the night," he said.
The head of the CMA said that a 71-year-old resident of Kherson was injured and taken to the hospital with an explosive injury, leg wound and broken bones.
