At the NATO summit, President Zelenskyy met with leaders of Indo-Pacific partner countries Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand to discuss security issues in the rapidly changing Indo-Pacific region, Ukraine's urgent need for air defense systems, and expressed gratitude for defense assistance from Australia and New Zealand.

On the sidelines of the NATO summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the leaders of the Indo-Pacific NATO partner states for the first time. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the head of state.

In particular, the President met with the leaders of Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.

They discussed the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, which is rapidly changing and requires unity and coherence in security issues
