The expert reported a raiding attack on Fire Point, the company producing Flamingo missiles. The pressure could lead to a halt in the production of Ukrainian weaponry.

The Ukrainian defense company Fire Point, which produces "Flamingo" missiles and ballistics for strikes deep into Russian territory, is undergoing a large-scale raider attack, the goal of which may be not only to seize control but to completely destroy the enterprise. This was stated by aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap, reports UNN.

In my deep conviction, there are all the signs that an ordinary raider attack is being carried out against the Fire Point company. The goal of this attack is not just to intercept the management of this company, but the goal of this attack is to destroy this company as such altogether. Because they have taken on very serious, very powerful ambitious plans,

- stated Kostyantyn Kryvolap on the "Seichas" YouTube channel.

According to the expert, Fire Point is today one of the key Ukrainian manufacturers of strike weapons. This refers to both FP-1 drones, which are already actively used to hit targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, and other developments of the company, in particular FP-2 and the FP-7 missile project. Kryvolap noted that the medium-range ballistic missile (FP-7) could become a cheaper alternative to Western weapons and allows Ukraine to strike Russian territory without political restrictions and without obtaining permission from foreign partners.

In terms of its characteristics, it is similar to ATACMS, but it is 3-4 times cheaper. And it is not limited by the restrictions that apply to ATACMS. For every ATACMS strike on Russian territory, we had to get some kind of permission. Here, no permissions are needed; we just do it wherever we want. But this missile, which should have been operational by now, is being held back by various means,

- noted Kryvolap.

In addition, Fire Point announced intentions to launch the FREYA project – a European anti-ballistic shield system, in which the Ukrainian manufacturer is to provide the missile component and the control system. According to Kryvolap, this project is being implemented in cooperation with European partners and could become strategic for all of Europe.

The expert believes that it is precisely such ambitious defense projects that could have been the reason for the large-scale pressure on the company.

And when I ask myself who the beneficiary of this raider attack is, because I see a specific raider attack, then these beneficiaries could be, first of all, Putin himself (Russian President Vladimir Putin – ed.) with his gang, that's clear. And they will throw everything possible into this flame that is meant to consume Fire Point,

- noted Kryvolap.

Furthermore, according to him, companies from the USA supported by the American administration, such as Lockheed Martin, may be involved in organizing the raider attack on the Ukrainian manufacturer, as they feel competition from the Ukrainian company.

According to the aviation expert, a systematic smear campaign is being waged against Fire Point, involving both individual public structures and anti-corruption bodies. In particular, according to him, the Anti-Corruption Action Center is spreading false information about the company's co-owner Denys Shtylerman.

The Anti-Corruption Action Center took Fire Point's blueprints and documentation to pass them on to I don't know whom. They went to embassies, saying that Shtylerman is a fraudster (shakhray – ed.), and the Fire Point company is something unclear,

- remarked Kryvolap.

At the same time, he pointed out that despite the informational and law enforcement pressure, European governments continue to cooperate with Fire Point. The expert recalled the signing of defense partnerships by Norway and Germany after the Ukrainian manufacturer passed the relevant verification and compliance procedures.

Kryvolap also stated that, according to his information, during discussions on funding defense programs, certain government representatives actually demanded not to allocate funds for a number of defense developments, which, in his opinion, directly harms the Ukrainian defense industry in wartime conditions. In addition, according to the expert, an option is currently being considered to seize the company and transfer it to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA), which could lead to the shutdown of the enterprise.

According to the expert, the situation around Fire Point has long gone beyond an individual corporate conflict and directly concerns issues of national security, the development of the Ukrainian defense industry, and Ukraine's ability to create its own long-range weapons systems. "Let the bodies that are supposed to handle corruption cases do so. But if this is a matter of our defense capability, then right now Fire Point is simply being stalled at all levels," the expert emphasized.
