The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, met with the new Russian ombudsperson, Yana Lantratova. The negotiations lasted more than three hours. During the meeting, they managed to agree on continuing all the positive developments that had been achieved previously.

Despite the lack of diplomatic relations between the countries due to Russian aggression against Ukraine, the parties agreed to verify lists and directly exchange official certificates.
