According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from 19:00 on December 19, the enemy struck with a ballistic missile "Iskander-M" from the Rostov region, a guided air-to-surface missile X-59/69 from the airspace of the Kursk region, and 65 strike UAVs of the "Shahed" type and other types of drones from the areas of Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia.
As of 09:30, the shooting down of 40 strike UAVs of the "Shahed" type and other types of drones in the Kursk, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions has been confirmed
Due to the active counteraction of the Defense Forces, 20 enemy decoy drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
As a result of the night missile and drone strike, private, multi-apartment buildings, medical facilities, warehouses and farms in the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions were hit.
