Ukraine has received the seventh tranche of 2.8 billion euros under the European Union's Ukraine Facility, First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced on social media on Monday, UNN reports.
Ukraine received the seventh tranche of financing from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility totaling 2.8 billion euros. Taking into account the repayment of previously provided advance financing, 2.6 billion euros actually entered the state budget
The total amount of financing under this mechanism has exceeded 29.4 billion euros.
According to her, "the funds will be directed to financing priority state budget expenditures, including social and humanitarian needs."
As Svyrydenko pointed out, this is already the seventh tranche under the program.
"At this stage, Ukraine has fulfilled 11 indicators of the Ukraine Plan, covering reforms in the areas of public administration, economic policy, energy, digitalization, and the rule of law," she noted. "In addition, Ukraine has fulfilled a number of conditions ahead of schedule provided for the next stages of financing. For the first time, we will receive additional compensation for the early implementation of reform commitments."
"As of the end of May 2026, Ukraine has completed 86 measures of the Plan, with another 65 at various stages of implementation. The government continues to systematically implement the necessary changes to ensure economic resilience, the country's recovery, and progress toward EU membership," the Minister reported.
The European Commission confirmed that "the European Commission today disbursed nearly 2.8 billion euros to Ukraine to meet its financial needs and support public administration."
With this latest payment, the total EU support provided under the Ukraine Facility is reportedly equivalent to nearly 77% of the financing available under the first pillar of the mechanism, which provides direct support to the state budget.
"The payment follows Ukraine's successful implementation of reforms in several strategic sectors, including public financial management, the judicial system, financial markets, human capital, the business environment, energy, agriculture, critical raw materials, digitalization, and the green transition," the European Commission noted.
EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Marta Kos said: "Ukraine's speed and commitment to carrying out meaningful reforms have justified this payment, and we are now also paving the way for further progress in accession negotiations."
"Ukraine submitted a partial payment request on April 14. On May 28, the member states of the EU Council approved the European Commission's assessment that Ukraine successfully fulfilled 11 reforms related to this payment, along with three unfulfilled reforms from the fifth and sixth payments, as well as four reforms brought forward from future tranches," the European Commission statement reads.
