Ukraine is grateful to the United States of America for its unwavering support and is ready for systematic cooperation in the field of defense and security. This was stated after a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker, Commander of the NATO Special Mission for Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, and U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine Sandra Oudkirk said Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, reports UNN.

According to him, the parties exchanged views on the progressive development of relations between the two states and the implementation of important agreements reached with the United States.
In particular, it was about the bilateral negotiations between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States in Ankara - primarily regarding the licensing of production of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems
He added that separately, the parties reviewed and analyzed the current situation on the battlefield and the impact of deep and middle strikes both on the further course of hostilities and on the readiness of Russian elites and Russian society to resume the negotiation process and end the war.
