From January to August, 215.6 thousand cars (new and used) were imported to Ukraine. This number of cars is 15% more than in the same period in 2023. This was reported by Ukravtoprom with reference to data from the State Statistics Service, UNN writes.

Reportedly, the total customs value of these cars amounted to $2bn 933mn, which is 19% more than last year.
The largest supplier of passenger cars was Germany, which imported almost 42.5 thousand cars to Ukraine.
The top three exporting countries also include the United States and China.

- USA - 34,590 (+63%);
- China - 25,604 (+102%);
- Japan - 21,934 (+14%);
- Republic of Korea - 11,159 (+63%);
- France - 10,741 (-36%);
- Slovakia - 9,651 (+52%);
- Mexico - 9,391 (+77%);
- Czech Republic - 9,117 (-21%);
- United Kingdom - 9,070 (-8%).
