Acting President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez held talks in Istanbul with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during which the parties discussed expanding cooperation in the fields of trade, energy, and mining. This was reported by the Associated Press, according to UNN.

The meeting took place following Rodríguez's visit to India, where she also discussed energy partnership issues. The Turkish President's administration stated that Ankara will continue to support the development of relations with Venezuela and the implementation of joint economic projects.
