The United States is working on a new UN Security Council resolution regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz together with Gulf countries. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

According to the US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz, the document includes a demand for Iran to cease attacks on vessels, the laying of naval mines, and attempts to collect fees for passage through the strait.
"A country cannot lay mines in international waterways and cannot use them as a source of revenue or attempt to collect transit fees,"
Negotiations on the draft resolution between the US and Bahrain are scheduled to take place this week.
A previous version of the document was not adopted last month due to blocking by China and Russia.
