Today, a meeting of the UN Security Council was convened regarding the horrific attack by the Russian Federation on Kryvyi Rih, which killed nine children. Member states condemned Russia's attack on a residential area of the city. The Russian representative expectedly shifted blame, accusing Ukraine of the tragedy. This is reported by UNN correspondent.

At the meeting, the Russian side expectedly stated that the tragedy in the Dnipro district of Kryvyi Rih occurred due to "unprofessional actions of Ukraine's air defense." The Russian Federation, in turn, launched a "precise strike" on planned targets. The Russian representative cynically repeated the report of the aggressor country's Ministry of Defense, insisting that it corresponds to reality.
The formal reason for convening by the European masters of the Kyiv regime was Russia's strike on one of the restaurants in Kryvyi Rih. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, as a result of a high-precision hit by Russia with a high-explosive shell on the venue of an event with the participation of Western instructors, the enemy's losses amounted to up to 85 servicemen and officers of foreign countries, as well as up to 20 units of equipment
He added that the Kremlin has repeatedly warned that the Russian Federation considers European military personnel and NATO instructors to be its legitimate target. And the resulting tragedy with civilian casualties, including children, was explained by the alleged unprofessionalism of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, he tried to deny that cluster munitions were used.
The Russian representative shamelessly emphasized that the Russian Federation attacks exclusively military targets and objects related to Ukraine's military potential. And, in fact, once again accused the official Kyiv of violating international humanitarian law.
The Russian added that the purpose of such measures, referring to the UN Security Council meeting, is an attempt by Ukraine to undermine future terms of a ceasefire agreement, which it considers unacceptable. And this supposedly will help to assure the United States and the EU in particular of the Russian Federation's unwillingness to peace. He called this calculation too obvious. The Russian representative also began to accuse Ukraine of pulling up reserves to the border and involving international support to continue the war, while Russia – yes, really wants a long-term peace, but on its own terms. Then he quoted the manual on "demilitarization" and "denazification."

Despite this expected and frankly cynical statement, the remaining representatives of the UN Security Council strongly supported Ukraine and condemned the Russian Federation's crime against the nine Ukrainian children who died on April 4 in Kryvyi Rih.
In particular, the representative of South Korea noted that negotiations on a truce did not go in the right direction if people continue to die.

The representative of South Korea added that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea is intensifying, which raises "uncertainty that Moscow is in principle able to cease fire at all."
The representative of Great Britain also spoke harshly about the tragedy in Kryvyi Rih.
