For Ukrainians abroad, the timeframe for receiving passports at consulates will be shortened, stated Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha during the government question hour in the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by the parliament, according to UNN.

According to him, Ukraine is taking measures to return Ukrainians—8 million of whom are currently abroad—back home. Programs are already in place in certain countries, specifically in Switzerland.
He added that "the MFA will shorten the timeframe for obtaining passports at consulates."
61% of services involve passport processing. Obstacles regarding forms have been removed, and the delivery time for passports has been reduced. We will introduce a separate queue for certain categories. I personally read complaints regarding the queues. We will reduce the time it takes to receive a passport
The MFA, as noted, has appealed to the competent authorities regarding abuses in the electronic queue for obtaining passports.
