In Kharkiv, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in the murder of a 52-year-old woman, whose body with stab wounds was found the day before, April 21, at a market in a store on Raevska Street in Kharkiv. This is reported by UNN with reference to the GUNP in the Kharkiv region in Telegram.

During operational search measures and video recordings from surveillance cameras, operatives established the identity of the suspect.
"Operatives established the car in which the 71-year-old perpetrator was traveling and his location. The deceased's husband took a significant amount of money - 77,280 hryvnias and 215 euros," the police said.
Police officers searched the man's place of residence and seized material evidence. The defendant was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The perpetrator was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) and Part 4 of Article 187 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Under the sanctions of these articles, the man faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
