The so-called "Rodniki" movement, headed by sanctioned singer Oleg Gazmanov, has announced the selection of vocalists among residents of the TOT (temporarily occupied territories) of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions to participate in the final of the song contest of the same name.
The project positions itself as a "national patriotic song contest" and is openly funded by the Kremlin. The repertoire of the contest, particularly its children's division, fully aligns with the state ideological line of the Russian Federation — militarism, the cult of the "great victory," and aggressive "patriotism."
