"In Alaska and the Arctic, the economic interests of our countries intersect, and prospects for implementing large-scale and mutually beneficial projects are visible. But, of course, the presidents themselves will undoubtedly focus on discussing options for achieving a long-term peaceful settlement of the 'Ukrainian crisis'," Ushakov said.
According to him, "if we look ahead, it is natural to aim for the next meeting of the presidents to be held on Russian territory."
"A corresponding invitation has already been sent to the US President. In the coming days, Moscow and Washington will devote themselves to the most active development of practical and political parameters for the meeting in Alaska," Ushakov added.
