Britain calls on Europe to extend duty-free and quota-free imports from Ukraine for most goods to protect Ukraine from Russian invasion.

British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps has called on Europe to follow his country's example and extend duty-free and quota-free imports from Ukraine to protect it from Russian invasion. He wrote about this in the social network X, reports UNN.

The UK has done the right thing by extending duty-free and quota-free imports from Ukraine  for most goods for another 5 years. The UK calls on Europe to follow suit to protect freedom and democracy from dictator Putin's invasion of sovereign Ukraine

- Shapps wrote.

Addendum

In February, the United Kingdom announced that it would extend duty-free trade with Ukraine on almost all goods until 2029, providing Kyiv with further favorable trade conditions after the Russian invasion.

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solsky in an interview with the Financial Times said that the actions of France and Poland, which are trying to restrict Ukrainian imports of agricultural products, could prolong the war.
