A power unit at one of the thermal power plants is reportedly back online after repairs. Windy and sunny weather is favorable for the operation of renewable energy plants. Therefore, the electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to cover the needs of all consumers.
"No deficit in the power system is forecasted," Ukrenergo noted.
It was also reported that yesterday, from 19:00 to 20:00, at the request of the Polish operator PSE, Ukrenergo provided emergency assistance to the Polish power system in the total amount of 100 MWh.
Import and export
Today, imports are expected to come from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Moldova. The total volume is 13087 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,494 MW in some hours. No exports are planned.
De-energization
According to Ukrenergo, strong winds left 19 settlements in Khmelnytsky and 5 in Kyiv regions without electricity. For other reasons, 389 settlements were without power in the morning.
Due to hostilities, there are new blackouts in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Due to technological disruptions, there are blackouts in Kyiv and Kirovohrad regions.
