On the night of May 9, Russians attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Crimea and 43 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as "Parodiya" decoy drones. The strikes were launched from the Russian cities of Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo, UNN reports with reference to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of 08:00, air defense has shot down/suppressed 34 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as "Parodiya" decoy drones in the south, north, and east of the country
At the same time, a missile hit and 9 strike UAVs were recorded at 6 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 2 locations.
