The law on increasing defense expenditures, adopted by the parliament, will ensure timely payments for servicemen – 115 billion UAH are allocated for this, said Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal in Telegram on Thursday, writes UNN.

The Verkhovna Rada supported the law that will ensure timely payments for servicemen
It is expected that stable financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces, strengthening of production and procurement of weapons will be ensured by the following funds. In total, it is about 412 billion hryvnias:
- 115 billion UAH will be directed to timely and guaranteed monetary support for servicemen;
- 216 billion UAH — for the purchase and production of weapons, military equipment and drones.
The rest of the amount — for other priority needs of the Ukrainian army.
