Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Russia's massive overnight attack on Ukraine demonstrates not the Kremlin's strength, but the weakness of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the head of the relevant ministry, overnight Russia carried out one of the largest terrorist attacks on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. For the strike, the enemy used about 600 drones, dozens of ballistic, aeroballistic, and cruise missiles, as well as an unarmed BRDM.

The Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Zhytomyr regions were also under attack.
Currently, at least two civilians are known to have been killed and dozens wounded. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that the number of casualties may increase. As a result of the attack, many residential buildings were damaged.
What Andrii Sybiha said about Putin
Putin wanted to show "strength," but only confirmed his weakness. Unable to achieve any results on the battlefield, Putin resorts to terror against civilians
According to the minister, this strike was likely intended to demonstrate "strength" to the domestic Russian audience, but instead only showed Putin's weakness.
Even Russians see that he is losing. His "special operation" is yielding no results. The losses are enormous, but not a single goal has been achieved
Sybiha also noted that there are no longer any safe places in Russia, as Ukraine is strengthening its long-range capabilities.
What the Ukrainian Foreign Minister called on allies to do
The Foreign Minister called on Ukraine's partners not to weaken, but to strengthen support for Ukraine and pressure on the Russian regime.
According to him, Ukraine needs additional defense capabilities, particularly air defense systems, increased investment in the Ukrainian defense industry, as well as tougher sanctions and political decisions regarding Russia.
Among such steps, Sybiha named a ban on entry for Russian combatants, the full use of frozen Russian assets, as well as strong political decisions regarding Ukraine's accession to the EU.
The world has levers of influence. They must be used correctly — to show Moscow that such strikes will not yield any results, and to force Russia to end this war
As a reminder
The number of casualties in Kyiv has risen to 56 people, two people have died. Thirty of the wounded are in hospitals, including children.
