According to Oleshchuk, on the night of August 9, 2024, the Russian occupiers attacked with Shahed UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area.
The Air Force's radio engineering troops detected and tracked 27 attack drones. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, all enemy UAVs were shot down by mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare assets of the Air Force in Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Donetsk and Dnipro regions.
