Since the beginning of the day, August 10, the enemy has continued its offensive, the number of combat engagements along the entire frontline has increased to 72. More than a third of them took place in the Pokrovsk sector. This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.

It is noted that Russian troops are using aviation for strikes, most actively striking the border of Sumy region from the territory of the Russian Federation.
In addition, Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation. Thus, 14 districts of different settlements came under enemy fire. Among them are Popivka, Ulanove, Zarutske, Velyka Pysarivka, Karpovychi and Bleshnya.
In the Kharkiv sector , our troops have repelled an enemy attack near Vovchansk. Two more firefights are ongoing there.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our units near Stelmakhivka and Berestove four times.
In the Liman sector, the invading army launched nine attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nevske and Makiivka during the day. Six clashes ended without success for the enemy, and three, near Nevske, are ongoing.
In the Siverskyi direction the enemy is trying to find a weakness in our defense. He conducted five attacks near Bilohorivka, Vyymka and Spirne. He received a tough rebuff. The occupants' losses are being clarified.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders launched eight assaults near Chasovyi Yar and Bila Hora. Three of them have not yet been completed. The enemy is suffering losses. He is concentrating his efforts in the area of Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the number of enemy attacks increased to seven. Our troops stopped two of them. Fighting is still ongoing near New York and Toretsk. This city continues to be subjected to aerial bombardment - there have been four of them today. And the enemy fired at our positions in the Druzhba area with unguided aerial missiles - 12 units were launched.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the largest number of combat engagements took place. Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have already made 25 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the vicinity of eight different localities. The largest number of firefights took place near Hrodivka and Zhelanne - eight and seven respectively. The areas near Oleksandropol were hit by NARs and KABs.
In the Kurakhove sector, eight hostile attacks towards Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka ended
In the Vremivsk sector, a firefight near Vodiane ended unsuccessfully for the enemy. Russian terrorists used two guided aerial bombs to strike Neskuchne. They attacked twice with NARs near Novodonetske.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, two Russian attacks were unsuccessful.
In other areas, , as stated by the General Staff, there are no special changes.

Ukrainian intelligence destroyed a Russian boat 'Tuna' near Chornomorske in occupied Crimea using a MAGURA V5 marine drone. Three other invaders' boats were damaged during the operation.
