In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the situation with teachers' salaries is rapidly deteriorating: salaries are delayed, bonuses are cut, and accruals remain non-transparent. This is reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNS), according to UNN.
Details
CNS sources report that in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the situation with teachers' salaries continues to rapidly deteriorate.
It is noted that the occupation administrations declare "salary equalization" and the integration of the educational system into Russian standards.
Teachers face regular payment delays, reduced bonuses, and a non-transparent accrual system. Salaries can vary significantly in neighboring schools, and the real level of income is eaten away by inflation and rising prices for basic goods.
In addition, a significant part of the payments is tied to loyalty: participation in propaganda events, implementation of Russian programs, and pressure on students and parents.
"Refusal or passive resistance leads to deprivation of bonuses or the creation of conditions under which teachers are forced to resign," the CNS added.
Recall
Russia began recruiting Ukrainian children into the Russian army directly in schools in the temporarily occupied territories. The occupiers are forcing 11th-grade students in Luhansk region to serve under contract or enroll in a Russian military university.
