General plant emergency response drills were held at the South Ukraine, Rivne, and Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plants, during which personnel practiced actions in the event of radiation accidents and threats related to missile attacks. This was reported by Energoatom, according to UNN.

It is noted that 2926 employees of Ukrainian NPPs, specialists from the branch "Separate Subdivision 'Emergency and Technical Center'" of JSC "NNEGC 'Energoatom'", as well as representatives of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, medical institutions of satellite cities, and civil protection services were involved in the exercises.
During the drills, participants practiced response algorithms for simulated emergency situations caused by missile strikes on nuclear energy facilities by the Russian Federation.
Energoatom emphasized that conducting such events is a vital component of maintaining a high level of emergency preparedness at Ukrainian nuclear power plants under wartime conditions.
