Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva in Washington and announced that the IMF mission's visit to Kyiv is expected in May, UNN reports.

We are ready to work further on de-shadowing businesses, implementing reforms, and expanding Ukraine's investment attractiveness. We are looking forward to the IMF mission's visit to Kyiv in May.

The Prime Minister added that the first tranche of $1.5 billion under the new four-year extended financing program of the IMF has already been received in March.

We are determined to make this program just as successful, despite the brutality of the protracted Russian war.
