Governor of Penza region confirms damage to Wildberries warehouse after drone attack

As a result of a drone attack in Penza, a Wildberries warehouse caught fire. One injured, about 200 employees evacuated.

Governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko officially confirmed that a Wildberries warehouse in Penza was hit as a result of a drone attack. He reported this on Telegram, UNN writes, citing BBC.

According to the Russian official, a fire broke out on the territory of the logistics complex after the strike.

According to preliminary information, there is one injured person, about 200 employees have been evacuated. Open burning is observed on the warehouse territory, firefighters are fighting the fire

The day before, monitoring channels reported a drone attack on the Wildberries logistics center in Penza and released video of a massive fire. The governor's statement became official confirmation of the facility being hit.

BBC notes that since July 18, Ukraine has attacked Wildberries logistics terminals in Russia at least eight times. After a series of strikes, the company began looking for available warehouse space in Kazakhstan.
