The day before, the head of the German Defense Ministry and Scholz's Social Democratic Party running mate, Boris Pistorius, also spoke negatively about the TAURUS deliveries to Ukraine, saying that the delivery of cruise missiles to Kiev would not change the situation in Ukraine.
