Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz criticized the opposition for accusations over the incident with a Russian missile. He stated that for the opposition, Ukraine has become the enemy, not Russia.

Polish Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz sharply criticized the opposition after its accusations against the authorities over the incident of a Russian missile violating Polish airspace. He stated this during a speech in the Sejm, as reported by RMF24 and PAP, according to UNN.

Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that Poland is one of the most transparent countries on NATO's eastern flank regarding reporting such incidents.

"Poland is the most transparent state on NATO's eastern flank. The commander of the operational command primarily deals with the security of the Polish state, and only then with SMS messages, tweets, and other information. The most important thing is to ensure security," he stated.

After this, the head of the Ministry of Defense sharply addressed the opposition representatives.

"You made a mistake in finding the enemy. For you, political struggle and hostility toward our government have become more important than the state interests and security of Poland," said Kosiniak-Kamysz.

He acknowledged that during the response to the incident, "not everything worked perfectly," but emphasized that the situation was handled "a hundred times better" than during previous incidents in Przewodów or after the discovery of a Russian missile near Bydgoszcz.

The minister also accused some political opponents of changing their attitude toward Russia.

"For you, Russia has ceased to be an enemy. For some time now, Ukraine has become enemy number one. Despite your howling and disinformation, we will continue to help Ukraine, which is fighting," emphasized the head of Poland's Ministry of Defense.

Kosiniak-Kamysz also posed a rhetorical question to the opposition.

"Who is the enemy for you? The Polish government? Ukraine? Or still the Russian Federation?" he stated.

In conclusion, the minister warned that without awareness of the real threat, any opposition remarks will not help strengthen the country's security.
