Within the hour and until the end of the day on June 17, thunderstorms are expected in 5 regions of Ukraine, and a Level I (yellow) alert has been issued. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As noted by the service, the severe weather is expected in Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Kirovohrad regions.
Residents of the aforementioned regions were warned: weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and utility services, as well as affect traffic movement.
The State Emergency Service also urged people to be cautious, and if possible, avoid being under trees, near power lines, and unstable structures.
