Ukraine has secured the extradition of five wanted individuals from five countries within a week. Among them is a suspect in the creation of a criminal organization from Dnipro, who was extradited to Ukraine from Jordan for the first time in the history of international cooperation. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, writes UNN.
The Office of the Prosecutor General has ensured the extradition to Ukraine of five wanted individuals from Jordan, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, and Poland this week
The following have been handed over to Ukraine:
- from the Czech Republic - a member of an organized group suspected of manufacturing and selling forged passports, driver's licenses, and other official documents;
- from the Federal Republic of Germany - a person who was wanted on suspicion of committing theft;
- from the Slovak Republic - a person who was wanted on suspicion of committing theft;
- from the Republic of Poland - a member of an organized group suspected of organizing the illegal smuggling of people across the state border of Ukraine using forged documents and entering false information into state information systems.
- from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan - one of the co-organizers of a criminal organization from Dnipro, whose members are suspected of manufacturing and selling psychotropic substances. According to the investigation, the organization's illegal monthly profit exceeded 12 million hryvnias.
The extradition from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan occurred for the first time in the history of international cooperation between the two states, the Prosecutor General's Office emphasized.
