The European Union may make the first payment from the recently agreed 90 billion euro loan package for Ukraine next week. This was stated on Monday by EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, reports UNN with reference to Reuters.

Last month, the EU officially agreed on a 90 billion euro loan, which is intended to cover two-thirds of Ukraine's needs for the next two years.
"I hope that next week we will be able to make the first payments," Kos told reporters in Brussels.
