Ukrainian strike drones manufactured by the Ukrainian company Fire Point have become among the leaders in strike capabilities currently used by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The company's main advantage is the creation of a mass and continuous production system, which allows the military to plan operations and constantly strike the enemy. This was stated by the commander of one of the "Asgard" units, part of the Unmanned Systems Forces, with the call sign "Gioconda," reports UNN.
According to him, the Ukrainian UAV market has evolved in recent years from isolated production and volunteer initiatives to the creation of a full-fledged industry capable of providing troops with the necessary number of drones for continuous strikes.
Companies such as Fire Point, for example, were able to achieve a result where they built a system that now allows for constant application, rather than intermittent use as it was before. That is, whereas previously you might receive 50 units and stretch them over two months for specific operations, now those 50 units are used by us alone—and we are actually a fairly small unit—in literally a week. And this is being used by practically all the Defense Forces,
He emphasized that for commanders of strike units, the key factor is not only the characteristics of the UAVs but also the stability of their supply. "Gioconda" explained that in war, it is vital that strike assets are supplied continuously so that operations can be planned. According to him, Fire Point has built exactly such a system.
The serviceman added that Fire Point weapons are currently used not only by individual special units but effectively across the entire vertical of the Unmanned Systems Forces and other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
It was Fire Point that managed to build a system that reached practically every unit, at least within the USF. And from what I know, they are actively used by the Defense Forces as a whole. That is, it is no longer the prerogative of some special units as it was before. And this is encouraging. It shows that we can truly do something. And we have our own weapons. Most importantly, we are not dependent on someone telling us: "Oh, we won't give you a missile, oh, don't do this here, don't go there,"
The commander also noted that the development of Ukrainian UAV production allows for the shifting of combat operations to the territory of the aggressor country and reduces dependence on foreign arms supplies.
The serviceman added that it is the daily use of weapons, which is tangible for Russia, that best demonstrates the result and confirms its effectiveness.
