Two Ukrainian women were injured in an accident near Leipzig, Germany, on March 27. The information that a Ukrainian citizen was among the dead has not been confirmed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this to Suspilne, UNN reported.

On March 28, the police in German Saxony updated the data on the victims of an accident that occurred near Leipzig involving a Flixbus bus. Four women were killed, and three Ukrainians were among the 54 injured. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told Suspilne about two injured women.
"According to the information received from the competent authorities of the host country, two Ukrainian citizens were injured in the accident," the Foreign Ministry reported.
It is noted that the embassy has established contact with the victims. One of the women was taken to a medical facility immediately after the accident. As of now, both Ukrainian citizens are already at their place of residence.
According to preliminary data, there were 55 people on the bus (53 passengers and 2 drivers). As a result of the accident: 4 people were killed, 29 were injured, and six were in serious condition.
"At present, the information on the identity of the deceased woman has not yet been confirmed. We are currently taking measures to identify the body and check her citizenship. The Embassy keeps the case under special control," the Foreign Ministry said.
German law enforcement officials wrote on their website that they had identified the nationalities of the three people who died in the accident. They are a 47-year-old Polish woman, a 20-year-old Indonesian woman who lived in Berlin, and a 19-year-old German woman from Bavaria. The identity of another victim has not yet been established. Earlier it was written that there were five dead, the police explained the discrepancy by search operations at the scene.
There were three Ukrainians on the bus, their gender and age were not specified.
