Yesterday, March 25, power outages were introduced in Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Khmelnytsky regions and during peak hours in Khmelnytsky region. Due to weather conditions, the heating season in Kherson has ended. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Tuesday, UNN reports.
Yesterday, according to the instructions of NPC Ukrenergo's dispatchers, hourly and emergency power outages were applied in Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Khmelnytskyi regions and during peak hours in Khmelnytskyi region
Also, given the weather conditions, local authorities have reportedly decided to end the heating season in Kherson.
The Ministry of Energy noted that two TPP units were put out for short-term repairs. Due to technological disruptions, the TPP was shut down, but was brought back online within an hour.
There is no electricity shortage. Emergency assistance will not be involved
Consequences of enemy shelling
As a result of hostile shelling , overhead power lines in Chernihiv region were damaged, and more than 1,800 consumers in 12 settlements lost power at once.
In addition, an overhead line in the frontline area of Kharkiv region was reportedly disconnected due to the fighting, and a substation supplying power to household consumers was de-energized.
In addition, an above-ground gas supply pipeline was damaged in Nikopol as a result of hostilities. Gas supply to 5 consumers was cut off.
Networks status
Due to cable damage, equipment at 330 kV substation in Zhytomyr region was disconnected, there were no blackouts, and the substation was put back into operation.
Also, due to technical reasons, a 35 kV overhead line was disconnected in Odesa region, and household consumers lost power. The line is back online, all consumers are supplied with electricity.
Import and export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted in the amount of up to 18,649 MWh. Exports are not expected, the Ministry of Energy added.

Power engineers have stabilized the situation in Odesa region, which allowed to return to the schedules of stabilization blackouts in Odesa and the region, 50% of electric transport in the city resumed operation, repair work to overcome the consequences of Russian shelling continues.
