President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed negotiations in the United States with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, and also discussed opportunities to push Russia toward diplomacy. Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram, reports UNN.
"Spoke with the Prime Minister of Norway. Thank you, Jonas, for your unwavering support and readiness to work together. Informed him about how everything went for us in Washington. The meetings were good, there is diplomatic progress. We very much hope for practical results, and protection from ballistic missiles is the first priority, a daily need," Zelenskyy wrote.
The President emphasized that missiles for Patriot and joint productions are what save people's lives.
"It is important that this anti-ballistic positive momentum with America continues." We also discussed opportunities to push Russia toward diplomacy. We also discussed risks — primarily what may happen in winter. I am grateful to Norway for its readiness to support our energy resilience, strengthening Ukraine ahead of this winter. We also coordinated the schedule of meetings," Zelenskyy added.
