Law enforcement officers in Kyiv exposed an organized criminal group that embezzled more than UAH 6 million from the state budget on equipment for ambulances.

According to investigators, an official of the Kyivmedspetstrans KO of the Kyiv City State Administration, an accountant and three private firms concluded a number of agreements for more than UAH 17 million during 2023, of which the dealers seized almost a third of the funds allocated for the repair of ambulances.
It was found that the suppliers, having won an artificial victory in the tender procedure, supplied spare parts for special vehicles at prices that were many times higher, putting more than UAH 6 million paid from the state budget into the pockets of entrepreneurs.
