As of 16:00, the number of combat engagements in the frontline increased to 72 on Saturday. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where it conducted more than a third of all attacks. The Toretsk sector remains one of the hottest and most priority areas for the enemy army. This is stated in the report of the General Staff, reports UNN.
According to the General Staff, the situation is as follows:
Today, in the Kharkiv sector, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our troops four times in the areas of Vovchansk and Lypky. The battle is still ongoing in Vovchansk.
The enemy attacked our positions in the Kupyansk sector four times . Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Berestove and in the direction of Lozova. Two firefights in the area of Stelmakhivka are still ongoing.
In the Liman sector, hostile attacks continue in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka and Dibrova. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 14 combat engagements in this sector, with five ongoing. The situation is under control.
Fighting continues in the Siverskyi sector , the enemy is attacking near Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Vyymka and Pereyizne, the occupants tried to break through our defense six times. All attacks were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk sector , the invaders conducted four assault actions near Chasovyi Yar. Three of these engagements are ongoing.
The Toretsk sector remains one of the hottest and most priority areas for the enemy army, with the number of enemy attacks here currently standing at seven. Today, the enemy is mainly attacking near the settlements of Pivnichne, Toretsk and Zalizne, and our defenders are giving a worthy fight back. Six combat engagements have already been completed. The aggressor's aviation also struck Kurdyumivka with unguided aerial missiles.
The largest number of combat engagements was registered in the Pokrovsk sector. Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 25 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Novotroitske, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Mykolaivka, Zhelanne, Zavitne and attacked towards Zelene Pole. The defense forces have already repelled 25 enemy attacks, and 11 combat engagements are still ongoing. Oleksandropil was attacked by Russian proxies.
In the Kurakhove sector , the militants attacked our units nine times, trying to advance near Kostyantynivka. A guided aerial bomb attack was carried out on Memryk.
In the Vremivsk sector, the invaders tried to attack in the direction of Vuhledar, with one unsuccessful attempt.
One enemy attack was also repelled in the Prydniprovsky sector.
Today, the occupants attacked Zaporizhzhia region with air strikes, dropping three unmanned aerial vehicles near Novodanylivka and striking Novoandriivka and Kamianske with unguided missiles.
There are no major changes in other areas, the General Staff added.
