Russia struck Ukraine overnight with 210 drones, 190 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of May 1 (from 17:45 on April 30), the enemy attacked with 210 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and drones of other types from the directions of: Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Gvardiyske – TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, TOT Donetsk; about 140 of them were "Shaheds."
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 190 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 20 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 10 locations
