Russians have fired 15,000 shells at border settlements in Chernihiv Oblast over the past year, subjecting 15,000 residents to constant attacks and terror, President Zelenskiy said during a visit to inspect fortifications and defense efforts in the region.
Today, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Chernihiv region to inspect the construction of fortifications and hear reports from the military and security leadership of the region on defense, the destruction of Russian subversive groups, and countering shelling along the border, where 15,000 shells were fired over the past year.
