President Zelenskyy held talks with Angolan President João Lorenzo. The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations and agreed on a possible visit of the Angolan leader to Ukraine.

Ukraine is going to appoint an ambassador to Angola. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following talks with Angolan President Joao Lorenzo, UNN reports.

"I talked to Angolan President Joao Lorenzo," Zelensky wrote on social media. 

The President expressed gratitude to his colleague for the support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. "Unity and support from Africa are important for the restoration of peace," the Head of State emphasized.

"We are interested in developing bilateral relations with Angola in many areas: food security, logistics, agriculture, creation of grain hubs and humanitarian demining. We are preparing to appoint an ambassador of Ukraine to Angola," Zelenskyy said.

"I will be glad to see João Laurença in Ukraine, the interlocutor has accepted my invitation. Our teams will work on the possibility of such a visit," the President said.
