Two men to be tried in Kyiv for rape of 15-year-old girl

Two previously convicted men are to be tried in Kyiv for the rape of a 15-year-old girl and a robbery in Pechersk. The criminals, who are in custody, face up to 12 years in prison.
Two men accused of raping and robbing an underage girl in an unfinished building in Pechersk, Kyiv, will be brought to court. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, UNN reports .
Under the procedural supervision of juvenile prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office, an indictment charging two men with rape and robbery committed repeatedly by a group of persons under martial law (Part 3 of Article 152, Part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was sent to court.
Investigations revealed that two previously convicted men, aged 41 and 29, in an unfinished building in Pechersk, used threats and violence to sexually assault a 15-year-old girl. After that, they took away her Iphone 12 cell phone. The perpetrators were detained.
It is noted that since 2011, the 29-year-old man has been convicted of theft 5 times by the courts of Luhansk region. His 41-year-old accomplice was convicted in Donetsk region for robbery and inflicting grievous bodily harm.
At the request of the juvenile prosecutors, the suspects are currently being held in custody without bail. They face up to 12 years in prison.
