The Kyiv RMA hosted the third online meeting “Dialogue between Government and Business” with the participation of nearly 200 entrepreneurs. There are 14 government business support programs in Kyiv region, including grants and loans at 0% interest.
The Kyiv RMA hosted the third online meeting within the framework of the "Dialogue between Government and Business" platform, introduced on behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko, UNN reports.
"The implementation of state business support programs is an issue that brought together almost 200 entrepreneurs. Together with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Employment Center and the Kyiv Region Tax Service, we discussed a whole range of issues. Today we are implementing 14 state programs in Kyiv region," Kravchenko said.
For example, 74 companies in the region's processing industry received grants under the New Level program for almost UAH 360.6 million. Since the beginning of this year, 82 applications for UAH 40 million have been approved under the Grant for Veterans and Their Families program to start or develop their own businesses. This will create 162 new jobs.
According to the results of the government's Own Business program, Kyiv region is one of the regions with the largest number of approved microgrant applications. There were 645 positive decisions to issue microgrants, which will create 1,220 new jobs.
The Kyiv RMA , together with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, is implementing a large-scale project under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program. They introduced an additional reimbursement of part of the interest rate up to 0% per annum for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. 172 entities received a loan rate compensation of almost UAH 11.5 million.
"Regular meetings with business are popular. Not only entrepreneurs from Kyiv region, but also from Kyiv are involved, because they do not always find a way to solve their problems in the capital. We also discussed another problematic issue that businesses often complain about. The tax authorities do not always justifiably classify companies as risky and block their accounts. We will deal with each such case separately and prepare requests to the tax authorities," added the head of the Kyiv RMA.
Other issues that constantly concern business are the recognition of critical enterprises and cooperation with the TCC.
Kravchenko thanked the business for continuing to work, create new jobs, and pay taxes in such difficult conditions.
