"The main flag of Ukraine was taken down in the capital due to the forecasted bad weather. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on December 16, strong winds of 25-28 m/s (hazard level II, orange) are expected in Kyiv," the statement said.
According to Kyivzelenbud, the flag was taken down until the weather conditions improved to avoid damage to the cloth.
